How do I change the page layout from Portrait to Landscape for an entire document?

I was recently asked how one goes about changing the layout of a page in OpenOffice from Portrait to Landscape for printing purposes. At first I thought it possible to change the layout of the page in the printer settings. Upon printing the document, I found I was wrong.

Having used Word 2007 exclusively for nearly three years, I was accustomed to the ribbon and thought the option would be at a similar place in OpenOffice Writer. Following some brief browsing through various options, I found myself turning to Google to figure out how one changes the layout.

I was quickly directed to the official OpenOffice Wiki, looking at the following steps:

Format -> Page brings up the Page Style dialog. Here, in the Page tab, you can change the Orientation from Portrait to Landscape, and vice versa. Control of the page format applies here (US Letter, A4, A3, etc...), as does page margin settings.

This made the preview change to a landscape format, and printing the document resulted in the results at first expected from changing printer settings.
